Gardener who shot himself after selling lawn mowing equipment has died

The gardener who accidentally shot himself last month in Wisconsin has died, the sheriff said Wednesday.

The shooting occurred on the morning of July 7 near Milford, Wisconsin.

He was a 27-year-old mechanic who owned a lawn mowed property that was not owned by the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Department.

The sheriff said he was “a big believer in the use of equipment for the general good.”

Sheriff’s officials were notified about the shooting late Tuesday, and authorities took him to a local hospital, where he later died.

He lived in the area.

The Sheriff’s Office said the department is investigating.
