Honda: Honda lawn mowers are ‘very affordable’

Honda has announced plans to invest $400 million in a $500 million plant in Mexico, which will create 5,000 jobs.
The announcement comes as the U.S. and Mexico face the biggest economic crisis since the Great Recession.
Mexico’s economy is expected to shrink by as much as 9.5 percent this year, according to Moody’s Investors Service.
The Honda plant will employ more than 3,000 people, including some 2,000 in the production line.
Honda also said it will hire 200 workers for a new facility in Arizona that will create 200 jobs.
The plant is part of a $2.3 billion investment that will help Honda build and assemble lawn mowing equipment for other car makers in the U, Mexico and China.
Honda has been the target of anti-business protests in the United States and Mexico.
In response to the protests, the company on Tuesday announced that it would hire 5,500 employees from Mexico to help improve the quality of the products being produced in Mexico.
