How to plant a garden without the herbicides
by admin

Organic lawn fertilizer for lawns can be purchased at most lawn-farming supply stores and online.
The products are usually available in bulk and usually have a shelf life of six months or less, so the plants need no water and nutrients.
But the herbicide-free fertilizer does have its downsides.
Here are a few that you may want to consider before purchasing it.1.
Does it contain glyphosate, the active ingredient in Monsanto’s Roundup weed killer?
According to a statement from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the herbicidal ingredient glyphosate does not contain the active ingredients of Roundup, including the chemical glyphosate-2, and is a Schedule I substance.
Glyphosate-2 is classified as a “probable human carcinogen” under the U, S. and Canada Environmental Protection Acts.
The EPA’s announcement says that glyphosate-1 and glyphosate-3 are also potentially carcinogenic, which are classified as carcinogenic to humans.
Glyfosate-3 is also classified as an irritant to the eyes, nose and skin.
The Environmental Protection Authority also notes that the product label claims that it can be used for “grass and lawn plants,” which are not the intended use for this product.2.
Is it safe?
The EPA says the product is safe for use in organic lawns.
However, the agency does not recommend the use of this product in residential settings because it can damage soil and water quality.3.
Does this herbicide have an expiration date?
The product can be stored in the refrigerator for a minimum of one year.4.
Is there a cost to buying the product?
There is a $2.95 cost per ounce cost.
If you decide to buy the product, be aware that the price is dependent on how many pounds of organic material you need to plant your lawn.
